The Quotation feature in Flovix Workshop allows service advisors and workshop staff to create professional cost estimates for vehicle repairs, maintenance services, spare parts, and labor charges before work begins. Quotations help customers understand expected costs and approve services with confidence.

 

Step 1: Add New Quotation

Navigate to Workshop → Quotations

Create a new quotation or open an existing one.

Verify the customer and vehicle information before proceeding.

 

Step 2: Locate the Product Section

Within the quotation form, find the Product field.

This section is used to add spare parts and workshop items that will be included in the repair estimate.

 

Step 3: Select a Product

Click the Product dropdown menu.

Search for the required product by:

  • Product Name
  • Part Number
  •  
  • Select the appropriate product from the list.

Click Save Quotation.

Once a customer approves a quotation, Flovix Workshop allows users to quickly convert the quotation into a Work Order. This process transfers all approved products, services, labor charges, and vehicle information into an active job, enabling technicians to begin work immediately.

Converting quotations to work orders helps streamline workshop operations, improve job tracking, and ensure all approved repairs are properly documented.

 

Step 1: Open the Approved Quotation

Navigate to Workshop → Quotations.

Locate the approved quotation.

Open the quotation details.

 

Verify:

  • Customer information
  • Vehicle details
  • Products and spare parts
  • Services and labor charges
  • Total quotation amount

 

Step 2: Select Employee

In the Select Employee* field:

Click the dropdown menu.

Choose the technician, mechanic, or service advisor responsible for the work order.

Confirm the selected employee has the required expertise for the assigned job.

Assigning an employee ensures accountability and allows management to track job progress efficiently.

 

Step 3: Add to Queue

After selecting an employee:

Click Add to Queue.

The work order will be added to the employee's job queue.

The assigned technician can view and manage the task from their dashboard.

Step 5: Convert to Work Order

Click Convert to Work Order.

  • Quotation notes and remarks

 

Step 6: Review the Generated Work Order

After conversion, review:
